How to increase indoor mobile phone signal in Malaysia

With the increasing usage of mobile phone and need for internet. Many users might experiencing poor mobile phone signal while they stay indoor like inside their home or inside their room, or inside their office. But when they come to outside house or building or at balcony, immediately they will get good mobile phone signal. This might be due to the poor penetration of the signal across the building wall.

However, many of the do-it-yourself or DIY individual like me will trying to fix this issue ownself. As currently in the market, there is a product call mobile signal booster which widely available online and we can purchase and install ourselves at home. We can get them either from Ebay, or Lazada or Shopee. And they are come with bundle including the outdoor antenna, cable and the indoor transmitter.
But before we purchase, make sure we identify the telco provider that we currently using and their bandwidth frequency. This is due to different telco might having different bandwidth frequency for their 3G and 4G/LTE signals. Below are summary of telco and their bandwidth frequency summary:

With the help from above summary on every telco bandwidth frequency, the best frequency to have in order to get major coverage for the Celcom, Digi, Maxis and Umobile are either 900 MHz or 1800 MHz or 2100 MHz or 2600 MHz.

After identify which bandwidth frequency need, we can start search for the mobile signal booster at Ebay, Lazada or Shopee website. Remember most of this booster are produce in China and there will be no warranty after purchase. While searching on these online marketplace, there some booster only support single bandwidth, and some support dual bandwidth. But which one to buy still depending on own budget. If can afford dual bandwidth will be the great as can have another bandwidth as standby.

Lately TM had updated their Hypptv or Unifi TV Set Up Box (STB) and make it harder for those who want to make full use of this android box by getting into the root to reset to the factory image where the Google Play Store is available. Before the latest update by TM, we can reset our STB by repeatedly press the "Power" button on the remote control while starting or switching on the STB. Ever since TM had updated their updated Hypptv or Unifi TV Set Up Box (STB) , we can't have the original Google Play Store to be restore with the old method of restored from the root backup.
