How to install Google Play Store Alternative on Hypptv Set Top Box

Ever since TM had updated their updated Hypptv or Unifi TV Set Up Box (STB) , we can't have the original Google Play Store to be restore with the old method of restored from the root backup. But this doesn't mean end of the world, or the STB to be only use to watch Unifi TV and can't watch other like other android box.

Luckily during my recent post of "How to install ES File Explorer on Hypptv Set Top Box", I do found out that we still can install Google Play Store alternative like Aptoide into our STB and to make out life easy to search and download other apps on our STB just like other android TV box.

Before you go on read to find out how to install this Aptoide, please go through my other post of "How to install ES File Explorer on Hypptv Set Top Box" first. As you will know how to process of download and installation on this Hypptv STB.

After you had read and understanding my previous post, now you can start to do this installation.

First of all, you need to go to the "Browser" on your homepage



Then type in this address on the address bar with keyboard: "https://en.aptoide.com/installer". Aptoide website page will shown once you had access to it.



Then click on the "Install Free Now" to start download and install the apps. (Remember to use the same way from my previous post where I had mentioned how to download inside the Browser app.)



Once downloaded, go to the Browser download manager and click this Aptoide apk files for installation.



Once installation completed, you will see the Aptoide app icon on your application page. and you can start login and download whatever apps you like and available inside this app anytime you like.

    yes i can install play store using aptoide but its not working. i can't access play store. and when i install play store apps using aptoide its jz keep saying google services error.

How to install ES File Explorer on Hypptv Set Top Box

Lately TM had updated their Hypptv or Unifi TV Set Up Box (STB) and make it harder for those who want to make full use of this android box by getting into the root to reset to the factory image where the Google Play Store is available. Before the latest update by TM, we can reset our STB by repeatedly press the "Power" button on the remote control while starting or switching on the STB. Then the enter recovery page (like below screen) will appear for us to key in the password to enter the system recovery root page. Then only we key in the code "304830" as password to enter the root recovery directory to reset the STB with the selection like below.
